The 88th Texas Legislature opens Jan. 10, 2023.
- THOT testified before the Texas House of Representatives Committee on Higher Education on May 5. Testimony focused on the need for funding for clinical training sites for non-physician health care professionals. The committee is charged in the interim with with reviewing progress toward the goals of the 60*30TX plan, including institutional strategies for responding to changing workforce needs and demands, including workforce education, industry certification, and degree programs to address healthcare shortages.
