Teaching Hospitals of Texas entered the session with a laser focus on five core areas: growing and supporting the health care workforce, preserving Medicaid and trauma funding, enhancing access to care, strengthening behavioral health services and access, and protecting health care systems’ ability to meet community needs.
With robust member engagement, we achieved important successes in each of these areas.
